I did, but my purchase is ok considering the age. I wound up buying a book called “The Fabulous Leonard Jerome.” I’m pleased with it so far.

One of my concerns about third party sellers is does Amazon give them your credit card info or does Amazon handle the transaction?

Exactly. This isn't about Amazon. This is about third party sellers that pop up on Amazon (and Walmart, Target, Best Buy, and on and on).
