Yep - when President Trump comes right out and says his words are a threat to Iran, you don’t have to wait long to see it come true - caused a todo in the Market and with oil prices but that is just the knee-jerk nanosecond way to take some profits before settling back down...

We are at war, and the US tried everything diplomatically and economically with Iran. Then Iran attacked our embassy in Iraq. 13 hours later this was our response.
This is how wars get curtailed. Get the other guy to not want to fight, or remove their ability to fight. It’s the only way it is done.

DUBAI, July 19 (Reuters) - An Iranian general collaborated with al Qaeda to arrange the transit through Iran of nine of the September 11 hijackers, the Arabic newspaper Asharq al-Awsat reported on Monday.
“A general in the apparatus (Revolutionary Guard) coordinated with the number two man in al Qaeda, Ayman al-Zawahri, to provide ‘safe passage’ to around nine of those who carried out the attacks,” the London-based paper said.
It cited as its source an official in the Iranian Revolutionary Guard, and said Zawahri, who requested the help, had links with the general going back to the early 1990s. ...

I agree, we are at war. This is the new normal for wars, they are undeclared terrorist wars. This is a major win for our side and had to be done. Thankfully we had the the intelligence and Trump allowed the response. Unlike Clinton who let Bin Laden escape putting many soldiers at risk in the eventual attack at his compound.

Killing your enemies’ leaders or not has been a topic of debate at Ft Myers/NSA,CIA and DOD for decades.
Those, who want never ending war, don’t want the enemies’ leaders kill.
Those, who want to stop the endless wars, say kill them and their replacements until the war from the enemies’ side stops.
