Surprisingly, even FR doesn’t seem to know enough about this guy. He’s been orchestrating terrorism for years (maybe two decades) all over the ME; Lebanon, Syria, Iraq, and other places.
He’s not the first senior Iranian terrorist supervisor to be done in. Many of the previous eliminations were probably targeting him but got other ‘high value’ targets instead.

What is wrong with suggesting there will be retaliation. Doesn’t mean it shouldn’t have been done. I know I will be careful about traveling to certain places for a few weeks. I have been watching this stuff since my son served in Gulf War 1, and there is always retaliation for something.

Oh it goes back waaaay before that. US-Islam relations go back to Barbary and Tripoli. It doesn't matter that those were a different group of Muslims, they all see themselves as a group in the struggle against these US. All those separate factions will fight to the death against each other, but they're still 'brothers' in the fight against the non-Muslims.
Even 9-11 wasn't an accident or happenstance. That date was specifically selected to 'overcome' it being the anniversary of a major Muslim defeat.
