A proper question, but it is far worse. Thousands of casualties from IED’s can be traced to this man who even trained insurgents to target our EOD personnel with secondary devices. Traumatic brain injuries, amputations, loss of sight, hearing, and thousands of surgeries that forever changed the lives of those who survived and their families.
He was the leading terrorist in the world. Period. The fact that he was an Iranian government official does not change that.
None of us know how this ends, what it might provide an excuse for by Iran, or how this ultimately changes the region or Iran, but it was certainly justified and it followed ample warning.
