Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) ripped President Trump for approving an airstrike against Iran’s top general, calling the attack "an act of war."
“Make no mistake: Trump’s actions are an act of war,” Gabbard, a presidential candidate, said in an email to supporters. “Taken without any authorization or declaration of war from Congress, seriously escalating this tit for tat conflict, pushing us deeper into an endless quagmire and dangerously undermining our national security.”
Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran, has hinged much of her White House bid on ending America’s military involvements abroad and withdrawing troops from the Middle East.
“We need to get out of Iraq and Syria now. That is the only way that we're going to prevent ourselves from being dragged into this quagmire, deeper and deeper into a war with Iran,” the Hawaii Democrat tweeted Friday.

She agrees with Rand Paul that we need a declaration of war to respond to an attack on our embassy.
No, we don’t. When we march on Tehran, we’ll need a DoW. To send a message telling them to back off of our embassy, the president has all the authority he needs.
Tulsi thinks she is the one and only “expert” regarding the Middle East. Her arrogance and condescending attitude on this subject are tiresome.
Other than taking out Skanka Harris, she has no redeeming qualities or accomplishments.

Wait, isn’t she in the National Guard? How the hell does she get away with saying this about her commander in chief?
I keep hearing this was an act of war against Iran. When did we attack Iran?
If we had a Special Forces General in Iran training troops and coordinating attacks, I would expect Iran to try to kill them. And it would not be an act of war. (Our guy being there could be considered one though.)
I certainly would be upset, but the “ Red flag of doom” would not be flying.
She probably gained some supporters with her comments, from Iran, Russia, China, Syria, Lebanon...
