Rep. Tulsi Gabbard (D-Hawaii) ripped President Trump for approving an airstrike against Iran’s top general, calling the attack "an act of war."
“Make no mistake: Trump’s actions are an act of war,” Gabbard, a presidential candidate, said in an email to supporters. “Taken without any authorization or declaration of war from Congress, seriously escalating this tit for tat conflict, pushing us deeper into an endless quagmire and dangerously undermining our national security.”
Gabbard, an Iraq War veteran, has hinged much of her White House bid on ending America’s military involvements abroad and withdrawing troops from the Middle East.
“We need to get out of Iraq and Syria now. That is the only way that we're going to prevent ourselves from being dragged into this quagmire, deeper and deeper into a war with Iran,” the Hawaii Democrat tweeted Friday.

Tulsi needs to be reminded of the three cardinal rules of surfing.(It’s uncanny how they relate to Islam):

How can she not know we have been at war for decades?
What is truly bizarre is how one Dem after another is coming out and making Soleimani and Iran sound like heroes, being picked upon by that big mean Trump. All that’s left for them to do is go out and start hopping around under a banner saying Death to America. You know, just to show their solidarity.

He's clearly got the statutory authority to engage in combat in Iraq and the Iranian was a military officer engaged in hostile acts against U.S. forces, he was a legitimate military target under any law of war.
The last declaration of war from Congress was in 1942 so if that's the metric for conducting military action then every president since then has broken the law.

When I looked up her history, all I could find was that she was a specialist assigned to a medical unit. The specialty was not defined. The article also said one of her duties was to review daily injury/casualty mists to see if anybody from her unit was on the list. Maybe she actually did was classified.
