Yep - and I wonder if they actually “missed”....seems like they might realize that hitting our embassy like that would drastically shorten their (and their handlers) lifespans....and their handlers don’t want to become “Glorious Martyrs”

Once again, why doesn’t the Green Zone have an Iron Dome unit to protect it from mortar and rocket attacks

There is no end to this. The Iraqi "green zone" is a permanent fixed target which cannot be protected.

I say we leave and nuke the site from orbit. It's the only way to be sure.

Then again, their hatred of us makes them their own worst enemy

Isn't it more probable, based on history if nothing else, that their hatred of us gives them the staying power to bleed us until we quit, presuming of course that we continue to oblige them with undefendable FOBs?
