NM District 3 is very heavily Hispanic and there are nine candidates in the Dem primary: 4 Hispanic, 4 Anglo, and one Native American. It's unlikely that she would win but given the number of fruits, nuts and flakes that make up the populated area from Santa Fe to Taos it could happen.

Maybe her great-great grandfather was a rabbi in the Ukraine. So what. Jewishness is passed down through the mother (and tribal affiliation through the father; i.e. Cohan, Levi, other). So if her mother is not Jewish or if she didn’t convert to Judaism, she’s not Jewish.

Every couple of years, I go to Santa Fe. We always stay on the Plaza. I go out on hikes; Bandelier NM, Ghost Ranch, Kasha Katuwe, etc. My wife is only too happy to hang out on the Plaza. Lotsa retail there; jewelry mostly. Her thing. There is also the Palace of the Governors, in which there is a museum, a bookshop; I forget what all else.
Hanging out in there the last time I was there, and the patrons absolutely worship Plame. Sickening, but true. I tried to explain she was in the Chair Force, and that EVERYONE in DC KNEW she was in the CIA! Talk about angry reactions!
Go there and try it for yourself sometime!
