When we leave, the sunni jihadists from all over middle east will return to face off against the Iranian backed shia. Lesson learned from Afghanistan and Iraq and Libya is sloganeering about hearts and minds and rebuilding is empty rhetoric and very expensive rhetoric, at that The middle east is not a hearts and minds region of the world because it is devoid of both hearts and minds which were replaced centuries ago by the darkness of an abject religious tribal hatred between the two groups. There is no benefit to being a long term third party to their blood sport. When conflict is necessary there to defend Western security interests, hearts and minds fantasy needs to be replaced by bomb and leave reality. The law of diminishing returns dictates what difference does it make that 90% of their populus hate us before we bombed than 95% after we bombed. The cold hard reality is collateral damage to them is a much cheaper price to pay than the overwhelming loss of blood and treasure to us.
Not one single woman there.
They’ve been yelling this since 1979. Aren’t they hoarse yet?
It would be rude for me to say what I think the Iranian Parilament should do to itself.
Carry on President Trump, and thank you sir for putting America first. We The People have your back.
I don't see The Red Flag Of War anywhere. They must not be serious.
I can't tell for sure, but I don't see any sign of The Holy Hand Grenade either.
Consider: Why did Bush and Obama decide against moving the Embassy to Jerusalem? Why did Bush and Obama decide against taking out Soleimini? The answer is the same in both cases.
Trump represents a clear policy change for the good. "Death to America" and "The USA is the great satan" are golden oldies at this point and have never served as provocation in the past. Now is different and it will be interesting to see how this develops.
I can still remember how the media built up the "battle hardened" Iraqi army as a substantial foe to the US, and we went through them easier than ISIS did.
Hopefully the people of Iran are tired of their Theocratic government and are ready for change as well. This whole Iran centric period of history is very long in the tooth.
The networks will likely be reporting this as “new” and “Trump’s fault, when the fact is that Iran’s parliament and its leaders in public displays have presented these chants numerous times since 1979.
The media in the west ignores that among the founding principles of the Mullah’s theocracy in Tehran is “death to America”, from day one.
