One of the several downsides in watching too much football this past weekend was watching too many TV commercials. And although I had grown used to the stupid white man trope, now a staple of comic advertising, I was unprepared for AT&Ts impressively racist and sexist Just OK is not OK campaign.
The larger message of the campaign is that when it comes to wireless networks, just OK is not OK. According to some dubious test, AT&T is allegedly Americas best network. To launch this concept, AT&T and its marketing geniuses at the Omnicom Group designed a series of scenarios in which an incompetent white professional or service worker offers his services to a wary customer of color.
A cavalier white male surgeon tells a patient he just got reinstated... well not officially. The Hispanic-appearing male who is about to be operated on and his wife react nervously to the surgeons proven ineptitude. Lena Waithe, a black lesbian (natch), provides the voiceover, announcing, Just OK is not OK especially when it comes to your network. As a stand-alone, this ad is actually pretty amusing. Its the only one that is.
A goofy-looking white male carnival worker responds to a black mother who asks if the Ferris wheel she is about to ride with her son is safe. I assembled it myself last night, he tells her. I think I did an OK job. The son then asks, What if something bad happens? Says the carnival worker, We just move to another town. And yes, Lena tells us, Just OK is not OK.

I have seen and took notice of these ads. I have also noticed more and more mixed race couples in commercials. But happy to see the GEICO woodchuck ad pop up again.

Unfortunately for AT&T, they still (after 5 years) do not provide decent cell coverage to my area (very rural).
And AT&T is the pits as a service provider. We junked them long ago, and these anti-White ads will not entice us to come back.
Why call out AT&T? Nearly all the ads on TV seem to have PC selected actors and parts. I don’t know what the actual numbers are but black seem to make up half or more of the principle actors even though they are below 15% of the population.

The proliferation of negro folk in commercials while not new has become ridiculous. There are virtually no commercials (that use actual humans) that do not make the protagonist a negro that is superior in one way or another. Mixed race commercials show the black guy with a white supermodel or some such. And if there are no humans in the commercial, the voice-over is usually by a black person. Regular TV content is virtually unwatchable also.
Bottom line ... we see way, way more blacks on TV than real life. In RL, unless I go to a sporting event or some other well-populated venue I can go for days without seeing a black person. If I do see a mixed race couple, the white chick usually looks like she would place well in an Iowa hog judging contest. I read somewhere that some Europeans think that the USA has a black majority due to the USA TV broadcasts over there. That is just sad.

I've seen all the ads mentioned and have seen the newer one featuring the shady white tax preparer, probably, approaching twenty times recently. I think they're running on the legacy networks and Fox, ESPN, etc.
About the only TV I watch is Fox and Friends in the morning, then a good bit of college football and some NFL when I've seen these ads recently.
Just add that to the long list of “Why I Hate AT&T”.
Hate their customer service - a dark ages model. Cancelled service. Good riddance. Official cord cutter now.

I work with Euros. Between our TV sitcoms & reality shows and their MSM news, they believe were a bunch of dumbass, gun-waving hicks hitting people with our Bibles (except for our liberals, natch). And they truly think Trump is another Hitler.
Gave one a small Midwest USA reality tour a while back. He went home with a very different opinion of us, and doubting his news people.

When I mentioned to my wife one night that blacks only occupy about 12-13% of the US population, she didn’t believe me. She thought it was much higher...in the 50% range.
The SJW ads are working.

White males are generally weak, effeminate, and stupid in just about any commercial. In the movies, masculine white males are generally villains.
But the war on white males is not about skin color, it is about the destruction of Western Culture and Christianity, and the weakening of the men who created it and defend it.

It’s a double-edged sword. White people see it as “Look how virtuous we are” and minorities see it as “Good-looking person of color demonstrates their success by choosing a white person”
