Bloomberg's campaign hires 500 staffers in over 30 states

Michael Bloomberg is wasting no time building out his campaign's ground game, with 500 organizers and staff in more than 30 states, including all 14 of the delegate-rich Super Tuesday states, his campaign told NBC News.

The ramp-up — both in staff and in spending on TV ads — has been quick. Just six weeks after he announced his candidacy, the former mayor of New York now boasts more than 800 staffers on his payroll and over $100 million spent on advertising.

The roughly 300 staffers working in the campaign's New York headquarters are set to move into a new building in Times Square to accommodate their burgeoning ranks, aides said.

Bloomberg just got the highly coveted endorsement of Judge Judy.
No way President Trump can win now.

Uh, they have already threatened that. That’s why they threatened the White House and published a list of Trump properties.

Ok, it’s ok to be sick, but here’s my take

Bloomberg is the only candidate with actual executive experience. (the queer was mayor but he’s queer) Bloomberg has a tremendous credential. He was mayor of New York

At some point, Biden is going to be destroyed by Rudy Ukraine revelations. That leaves no candidate for the mass of democrats that eschew the radical socialists.

Bloomberg is the nominee by default

QED

Oops, sorry, wrong thread.

Trump never ran for office as anything but a republican

IMHO Bloomie is really interested in the Presidency, but the DNC regards him as the way to blow Steyer, Yang, and Schultz (and ultimately, himself) right out of the race. It would be hilarious though if the four billionaires blew the also-rans (IOW, everyone but Biden, Sanders, and the Fairy Princess) out of the race at the first primaries.

A BILLION is a thousand million. He has several billions. That expense is little more than a “P” in the pool to him.

Bloomberg thinks he can buy it by spending more than every other campaign.

Because he's going after free stuff crowd, he can do it. Instead of traditional advertising though he should have mailed out free 2020 calendars by now featuring Bloomberg photos, free stuff advice, store coupons, and election dates, and follow up by mailing food treats every month. If you give free food to a Democrat one time, you can't get rid of them.

Demonrats are like opossums and raccoons, they are born to root in garbage and make a mess wherever they go.

So, if you can’t stand billionaire Trump ...does that mean you will vote for billionaire Bloomberg?

Steyer made his money by greasing politicians to his advantage; especially in the energy sector. He blocks pipelines while he invests in other energy transportation, for example. Steyer is still the ONLY lobbyist who paid to speak before Congress if I am not mistaken.

I just know he’s dumping boatloads of money for ads here in Washington state.

Still trying to figure out how the Mayor of NYC creates hundreds of thousands of jobs, controls health care access and insurance for families, etc...the only claim I haven’t heard him make is with respect to foreign policy.

i think the destruction of the two billion dollar hillary campaign anointed by all the powers-that-be by a game show host who was minimally funded should have demonstrated to everyone by now that it takes WAY more than just a gigantic pile of money to win a Presidential campaign ...

you can only saturate TV with so many millions of boring ads that people tune out after a couple of times, and just hiring tons of campaign staffers, pollsters, campaign consultants and campaign managers may not do much more than enrich all of those employees ...

and even more fundamentally, the interest has provided a vast number of alternative sources of news and opinions, and social media and email have provided nearly and infinite number of ways for people to connect and discuss things, while the dying lying leftist Democrat fake stream enemedia has lost its ability to control the way people think ...

i’d be very surprised if Bloomberg manages to win the Dem nomination based on winning primary delegates ... his only real chance would be if no one gets a majority of delegates by the time the convention starts, and even then, it’s not clear there’s enough delegates for sale for him to win ...

It is unfair for him to enter the race this late when multiple other Democrats have dropped out.

Is it legal for him to enter the race this late? It is certainly unfair.

I’ve seen a few of mini-Mike’s ads locally here in N. Idaho(!?!). He sounds like a megalomaniacal tyrant. I don’t think he has many adherents in this part of America.
