So, if someone is arrested, prosecuted and incarcerated for election fraud, no problem, just keep voting. The inmates finally rule the asylum.

Thank you, Terry McAwful and the rest of the Felony Party, aka demoKKKrats. Stealing elections it's what they do.

I’ve been saying that these idiots are trying to pass CA and NY in a year. I was wrong. They want to pass them for peak crazy in two weeks.

Their lives need to be made miserable.

I’m ok after the sentence is served. This goes way too far.

Bloomberg Dems in Virginia are looking to start a hot war.

Same. Totally fine with someone who has paid their price having their full rights restored, including voting and firearm rights.

But people inside prison are being sequestered there to prevent harm to citizens. They shouldn’t have a say in who hires the prison guards!

No kidding. They are like”hey lets imagine what the California of 2035 is like and then pass laws to get there.” I hope this nonsense is all blatant overreach and puts the state back into play. I doubt it will but who knows.

“ I’m ok after the sentence is served. This goes way too far.”

Or in the time between arrest and trial when they have not been convicted of a crime. But I suspect those guys have bigger worries than who to vote for.

I would be asking the obvious question....how many prisoners in the state system are even state residents? If 20-percent were from other states, how do you handle them...just bless them off as Virginians? And the non-Americans in the prison system? Bless them off as Virginians as well?

Illinois has many prisons in rural areas of the state. I was discussing this issue with a guy who was a guard at a state prison. He said that what would happen is, a gang member would move from Chicago to where the prison is and run for sheriff/prosecutor/town mayor etc. The prison’s inmates would vote as a bloc and the gang member wins. What could go wrong? I swear, the dems are going crazy.

I remember when prisons were the place where criminals were cut-off from society. They were isolated/removed from society. Now, criminals in prison are shown on TV and even interviewed. I never thought they’d become enfranchised while serving their sentences!

Democrats are on record SPECIFICALLY willing to let convicted rapists, murderers, molesters, and hate criminals vote before they have completed their sentences.

They want any votes they can get and feel that these convicts are more likely to vote Democrat than Republican. Or that their ballots can be harvested and the votes given to Democrats.

Yes. I can see voting from JAIL for those not yet convicted. Prison is a whole different thing.

Scumbags.

Taking rights away from decent citizens, and not from criminals.

“No taxation without representation” is a great concept, and a core American maxim.

Once upon a time, the converse was also true. No representation without taxation has gone by the wayside. The idea that you should get a vote even when you have no skin in the game is absurd, but here we are.
