Yep, Romney is horrible BUT so were we when we decided to nominate Mitt as our candidate to defeat Obama for a second term.
I was strongly against Romney and I was for Rick Perry and what that got me was horrible insults and getting kicked off the site.
Nobody has ever apologized.
I wasn’t a FReeper, then, and frankly, I had to look up who ran in the primary back then, but unless the only choice, other than Romney, was Hitler, I’m betting I didn’t vote for Romney, because I’ve always thought he was a phony. I didn’t care for Gingrich, either, and though he’s ALL TRUMP now, I still don’t trust him; he’s just going with the flow, right now, if you ask me. If the republican tide turned against Trump tomorrow, I’d expect Gingrich to turn, too. Ron Paul was, of course, a non-starter.
Rick had stumbled over himself in the primary debates.
At some point, wounded animals need to be pulled off to the side.
