WIMAUMA, Fla. — President Trump's re-election campaign has announced Vice-President Pence will be attending a rally on Thursday, January 16 at the Valencia Lakes community in Wimauma.
However, some residents said they are concerned about the "private" community hosting such a "public" event.

That sounds more like an assisted living community for the disabled-I wasn’t aware that most people in Florida senior communities were so disabled-it also sounds like they think because they paid a really high price for their homes that they don’t think “just anyone”-as in anyone who isn’t wealthy enough to live here-should be able to come to an event there-sounds like a snobby bunch...

35 years ago Wimauma was a place with trailers that served as temporary housing for migrant workers. I remember going door-to-door with folks from church telling people about Jesus. Yes, we had Spanish speakers with our team.
I am shocked that this visit by VP Pence is “news”.
I can’t wait for the outrage when he and President DJT start visiting black and mostly black churches!!
Wimama is in the middle of no where! Seriously, it’s south of Tampa in a somewhat rural area. Good gravy, nothing will happen there.
Some residents... Valencia Lakes is a new retirement community, next to an established retirement community that is 90% Republican, so I guess, the VL community will be about 90% Republican, too...
