In the post-modern world — usually — your “feelings” are just as good as “truth”. Indeed, we are sometimes told that everyone “has their own truth”.
Except, of course, if a transgender person were to say, “I feel I’ve made a mistake”. This, you see, would be a great crime. It’s hate speech. It needs to be crushed. Because those feelings are wrong, wrong, wrong!
