I don’t like to jump to conclusions but let’s face it this shouldn’t even be talked about as a question. They obviously are covering it up.
What does that tell us about any future deals with that government?
Their actions all indicate that they did shoot down this plane.
This is nothing new and a common question — how can you deal with a group of people who don’t value their own lives and the lives of their people and strapping on an explosives vest and detonating it in a crowd will assure them a place in heaven.
The desire for self preservation is what motivates most sane people and will result in compromise and treaties and peace. It worked with the Soviets — RE: MAAD. I doubt that it would work with a group of religious fanatics who would chose death and heaven over life and compromise.
