I wouldn’t be surprised if this isn’t the work of the old Iraq intelligence officers from the old regime still working in the shadows hoping to come back to power, they are anti-iran and don’t want a Iran coming to power there.

Good. Kill them ALL. Massacre. Send them running back to Tehran just in time for the gallows.

...Popular Mobilization Forces leader Taleb Abbas Ali al-Saedi...
Popular? I don't think that word means what you think it means. ;^)

Instead of them hunting us, now we're hunting them

As it should be. IMO, we have the world's best covert operatives in the business.

Put 'em in and let them go to work to reek havoc. This includes Iran proper, which may just be happening already.

Yeah not in Iraq.

We just spent trillions "nation building" for the last 15 years instead of killing the ragheads wholesale.

It would destroy all of Bush and Obama's work.

Iraqi police are saying it wasn’t him - that it was someone with a similar name.
Besides Daily Mail, I haven’t seen a large news outlet cover this story.
Everyone posting it seems to have gotten it from the Mail.
So, I’m wondering if it’s really true.

The missed target in question was in Yemen, not Iraq

So many targets, so few hits.

Well, Gee... what a shame.

I’ll lose some sleep over it... or not.

Feel-good story for a Sunday.

He just retired. That’s how they do it over there. Instead of a gold watch they get a few chunks of lead.
