If Bloomberg can spend billions on "independent" expenditures that aren't, why should individuals be limited to donating $2800 to campaigns? Why was it a big deal for Citizens United to make a film attacking Hillary Clinton?

According to Predictit the Republicans now have an even change of keeping the Presidency. A few months ago they were 55-45 underdogs. We should not panic about Bloomberg, but our campaign finance restrictions should be lifted if he can bulldoze them.

He can buy all the propaganda video’s he wants, it still won’t sway any voter for Trump.

Pretending to run for President is the only way he would be allowed to contribute a billion dollars to the DemocRAT cause.

Go ahead and spend it, Michael, but it'll take a lot more than a billion dollars to stop the man who promises to MAKE AMERICA GREAT! and who TRUSTS IN GOD!"

Pretending to run for President is the only way he would be allowed to contribute a billion dollars to the DemocRAT cause.

The article says "If Mr. Bloomberg fails to win the nomination, future spending would be redirected toward attacking Mr. Trump." So he can still spend billions even after he fails to get the nomination, as long as his spending is "independent" (snort) of the Democratic candidate's campaign.

Go right ahead, Chump. First of all, you’re not getting the nomination any more than “Pig” Steyer and all his ads will. Secondly, Trump will slaughter you in the general election. The most successful economy of this century vs the guy who ran NYC into the dust? Easy choice for anyone with some objectivity.

If spending money meant getting votes than Clinton would be president.

Steyer is a detestable puke. He is heavily invested personally in this green crap he is pushing. A hedge fund thief and a fraud.
