Attorney General William Barr announced Monday the December mass shooting by a Saudi national that left three American sailors dead in Pensacola, Florida was an act of terrorism.

Mohammed Saeed Alshamrani, a second lieutenant in the Royal Saudi Air Force, shot and killed three U.S. navy sailors — Ensign Joshua Kaleb Watson, 23, Airman Mohammed Haitham, 19, and Airman Apprentice Cameron Walters, 21 — and wounded at least eight others at the Naval Air Station Pensacola. Haitham and Walters received posthumous promotions, and Acting Secretary of the Navy Thomas Modly praised them for displaying “the finest warrior ethos and quick decision-making that undoubtedly saved many lives.”

Alshamrani was shot and killed by responding deputies from the Escambia County Sheriff's Office.

It was obviously a terrorist act. We didn’t need DOJ to tell us that. The question has only been if DOJ was willing to say so. It took them a month to tell us what we knew from the beginning.

I suspect 21 heads to be rolling in Saudi Arabia in the near future.

What’s the underlying reason for DOJ deciding this?

The paper this weekend had a small blurb that Trump wants to expand the list of terrorist countries whose citizens cannot travel to the U.S.

Might this be somehow used as legal justification for such expansion?

Great...so we send 17 budding Saudi terrorists back home where they can continue to train, infiltrate, go all jihad, etc.

Damn, they should have been charged and locked up for decades.

We let FAR TOO MANY Saudis go free on far too many occasions.

Given that officers & particularly pilots are from the Saudi upper crust. This will be a good test of the Crown prince’s authority.

Yes, it’s been described as a politico-religious cult. I find nothing spiritual about it. There is no “Do unto others as you would have them do unto you”. It’s closer to the Luciferian philosophy of “Do to others before they do to you”. The relationship between Allah and man is more like a slave owner to his slaves, rather than a heavenly father as Jesus described it. There is no effort required to be a Muslim more than just accepting a flawed man, Muhammed, as God’s prophet. Christianity requires a transformation, as Jesus put it, being reborn. Reborn into a new spirituality, while Islam is still rooted in this worldly system, and all its corruption. Islam attracts those who want to keep their old ways of getting what you want by force. It appeals to the animal side of people, not the spiritual side.

The DNC media did report the story, but when it became apparent these were muslims, they dropped the story like a hot potato.

Back to impeachment!!

At least this administration will come out and admit it, unlike Obama and the Foot Hood shooting.

Barr’s major point was that Apple won’t unlock the perp’s encrypted phone and that the Feds want this authority.
Why doesn’t he dial up his buddies at the NSA, who vacuum up every electromagnetic emmission? Heck he could probably use the NSA to pursue other investigations, even some investigations concerning the FBI itself.
