If you have a NYS concealed carry permit in a county outside of the five boroughs you may not carry concealed in NYC unless NYC validates your license (good luck with that).

As stated, that’s why I have a NYC permit for a 7 shot, Smith & Wesson .357.
Again, it’s not hard. It’s just takes about $10K.
