Meanwhile in Russia's space force.....

Russian Priest Blesses Soyuz MS-11 Spacecraft

Russia: Priests bless Topol-M ICBMs ahead of Victory Day

We used to hear talk of missile gaps with the Russians - maybe one day we will hear there is a Bible gap if we are not careful.

He further characterized their target as “”incredibly well-funded gangs of fundamentalist Christian monsters who terrorize their fellow Americans by forcing their weaponized and twisted version of Christianity upon their helpless subordinates in our nation’s armed forces.”

MRFF reports that it currently represents over 65,000 active duty U.S. marines, sailors, soldiers, airmen, cadets, midshipmen, national guard, reservists and veterans, about 95% of whom self-identify as practicing Christians. Of the remaining 4%, MRFF represents Jewish, Buddhist, Hindu, Sikh, Native American Spiritualist, Humanist, Pagan, Atheist, slightly over 18% of all Muslim Americans in the U.S. military, other minority faith and non-faith military members, and slightly under 1,000 LGBT military members.

[ How queer, don’t we hear that Satanism is now a part of the US Military? How come his anti-Christian MRFF doesn’t have any Satanists? ]

...In December 2012, Weinstein was named #95 of the “100 Most Influential People in U.S. Defense” by Defense News.[32]

Criticism
Weinstein has come under criticism for his larger than average (for a non-profit) salary and his practice of voting on his own compensation (he is one of the voting members of MRFF’s 3 member board).[33] In 2012, he received total compensation worth $273,355 according to IRS filings accessed on the nonprofit transparency website GuideStar

I suppose it’s a good thing when the enemies of decent Christian values makes themselves so readily apparent.

I never heard of this group until now. I doubt they represent anyone other than the fringe folks who’ve decided to buy into their twisted dogma.

Make the book “littler”, paint it red, and NPR will go away—happy.

Matt, Luke and Mark all agree:

You will be hated by everyone because of me, but the one who stands firm to the end will be saved.

1. “Outrage” on social media has to be the weakest basis for a story imaginable.

2. If you swear in officials on any Bible,a perfectly common practice, you are using a Judeo Christian Holy Book whereas there are other religions. I hardly think use of a “Christian” Bible is such an atrocity as stated in this article.

“The utilization of a Christian bible to ‘swear in’... is completely violative of the bedrock separation of church and state mandate of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution.”

This idiot doesn’t seem to know about the oath of office by the president and countless other ceremonies in the United States. Also, the writers of the Constitution mention Jesus in dating the Constitution.

But he knows. Just trying to muddy the water and start the momentum to stop the use of the Bible for all subsequent ceremonies.

No one stuck a gun in their face and forced them to pray. . . though, if a gun was in their face I am sure they WOULD pray.
