A European Green Deal (The world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050)
European Commission ^ | Dec. 2019 | European Commission

Posted on 01/14/2020 7:54:19 AM PST by yesthatjallen

Becoming the world’s first climate-neutral continent by 2050 is the greatest challenge and opportunity of our times. To achieve this, the European Commission presented the European Green Deal, the most ambitious package of measures that should enable European citizens and businesses to benefit from sustainable green transition. Measures accompanied with an initial roadmap of key policies range from ambitiously cutting emissions, to investing in cutting-edge research and innovation, to preserving Europe’s natural environment.

Supported by investments in green technologies, sustainable solutions and new businesses, the Green Deal can be a new EU growth strategy. Involvement and commitment of the public and of all stakeholders is crucial to its success.

Above all, the European Green Deal sets a path for a transition that is just and socially fair. It is designed in such a way as to leave no individual or region behind in the great transformation ahead.

So I can assume the people that wrote the policy dont forecast themselves living until 2050.

They can only achieve it if the countries agree to fund (rip off from consumers) enough tax revenue to hand over to the EU....so they can hand it back for fake projects to consume the capital, and fake carbon results.

To be truly Climate Neutral you first must kill off ALL LIFE FORMS including humans, and turn the continent to a total lifeless wasteland. Perhaps that is their goal.

Considering the example of Venezuela and how long it took to collapse we need to look into inventing a new term for the shithole these socialism loving and Islam importing EU technocrats are creating out of Europe.

How about “the Stupidth World”?

That’s the great thing about being a Climate Change fanatic. You can set as many crazy and unrealistic goals as you want. Just pick a completion date far out in the future. Then just sit back and collect your pay until you retire.

And that’s where Stalin’s economists went wrong. They had five-year plans. When the plans did not meet their goals, there was hell to pay. If those economists were smart, they would have gone with thirty-year plans.

It’s not really about a weather climate. It’s about the social climate, and that is going to change for the worst, dressed up and lipstick’d bigly. By the time people recognize the reality the state will have them disarmed and slurping whatever tasty soylent is on the ration schedule.

Some time ago, I read a report that said the North American continent removes more CO2 than it produces, due to reforestation. (The measured CO2 on the east coast was less than that on the west coast, with prevailing winds going west to east).

Does anyone remember that? (Serious question)

Involvement and commitment of the public and of all stakeholders is crucial to its success.

It will be so crucial that “involvement and commitment” will be required. Watch.
