Universities have already been paid. They will love the idea.

They have no skin in the game.

I suspect the Universities will have a tad to say about that....

Universities are all in favor of erasing student debt. It will allow them to jack up tuitions even more. They can tell prospective students: "Hey, don't worry that our tuition is $80k/year. Just take out a loan. You won't have to pay it back because the government will forgive the loan."

Universities have already been paid. It’s the lending institutions’ shareholders who are going to get robbed if the phoney Indian gets her way.

Oh, no. The universities have gotten paid. Years ago. That’s where the loan money went. What will kill the colleges is demographics—in 5 years the college aged population attending college will drop like a rock.

Look at all the new buildings on campuses. Someone has to pay for those.
