Not just in the 90s. In the 2000s as well. Don’t you remember Bush, McCain and Romney? I voted for Bush in 2000, but after he invaded Iraq (cheered on by Kristol) and effectively opened our borders, I realized modern “conservatism” was a fraud. I didn’t vote for Bush for re-election, or any other GOP presidential candidate again until Trump in 2016.
