Sen. Ted Cruz (R-TX) mocked House Speaker Rep. Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) on Sunday over her repeated insistence that President Donald Trump will be “impeached forever,” saying that by the time the Senate is done with the trial, Trump will be “acquitted forever of these bogus charges.”
“Real quick, how likely is it that we see a motion to dismiss in the first – after the first 48 hours, after you actually look at those articles?” Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo asked Cruz on “Sunday Morning Futures.”
“You know, I don’t think it is that likely,” Cruz responded. “And the reason is, I think dismissing this case is a much less attractive option than rendering final judgment and acquitting the president.”
“And the reason is twofold,” Cruz said. “Number one, if you do a dismissal, a dismissal doesn’t reach the merits. An acquittal, a verdict of not guilty, that verdict stands for all time.”

If he runs I cannot support him for President because he is not a natural born citizen.
Natural born citizens are born here of citizen parents.
Cruz was born in Canada to one citizen parent and one foreign national parent.
If you believe Ted Cruz is eligible, you also believe Anwar al-Awlaki’s kids, born in Yemen to one citizen parent are as well.
To you guys who replied: I wanted to say, “filet mignon and lobster tail dinner”. I thought I knew the name give such a meal; Chateaubriand. But when I looked it up, I learned that name applies only to a filet alone, but cooked in a certain way. Here in Pennsyltucky, 30 years ago there was a place in Reading, PA, Stokesay Castle, that served filet and lobster tail, and CALLED it Chateaubriand. Those were the days.
And Pelosi will forever be associated with this travesty. Her forever reputation will be tarnished beyond belief. Fortunately for her, she will be dead and beyond redemption. Read the Bible Nancy. Third in line Pelosi is now in suck it up mode bet the old dame is out of a job soon the squad hone knives.
just was not thinking about my original reason for supporting trump over Cruz. I like the guy but there is a reason why the constitution says natural born citizen. I also think that no one that is an elected official should be allowed to claim dual citizenship.
Send Pelosi’s impeachment articles back to the swamp they came from.
