“The longer the circus goes on, the less time Dem candidates have to campaign in Iowa and New Hampshire, and the more the spotlight is on Joe Biden, whose corruption gets further highlighted by this circus, especially if the Dems dare not mention it, and the Republicans can and should as often as possible. This is a slomo train wreck.”
correctamundo ... and Jo Bidn would make a HORRIBLE nominee against Trump ... of course, so would bernie or liz, though i suspect liz would have a better chance at more votes than bernie or bidn ... at any rate, bernie is probably the one being hurt the most by this, because he has the momentum (though not the absolute poll leader), the most fund-raising, and a large coterie of truth-believers ...
Ironically, if it hadn’t been for Blowy and the impeachment circus, for all anyone knew, Barr would have quietly empaneled a grand jury and investigated, using information coming from Ukraine, and either indicted Biden or concluded there was no there there. Thanks to this circus, even if he were elected Joe would be haunted by this controversy for all of his term.
Fortunately, that wouldn’t have happened anyway. If Joe is the nominee, he’ll be sliced, diced and pureed by Trump. The only dirt he needed was Biden’s video openly bragging about his corrupt bullying of Ukraine, and the fact that his low-life son was getting sinecures everywhere he went. Even without that, Trump would run rings around him while he figures out which state he’s in and when he was VP, and Obama openly disses him.
