Our adventure begins from the airport in Ontario, CA. A stop in Phoenix and then on to Miami for an automotive event.
My friend Peter Paul, the only man to join FR from the Corridor of Death in a Brazilian prison (because of the Clintons) shows me the sights, the highlight of which will be checking out Mar a Lago. While wearing my Trump 2020 hat, we go around the curve on a two lane residential street of very nice homes. In front of the club and in the center turn lane is a police Suburban with lights on. Of course, we believe it is to keep people from crashing the club. The President is in Europe so there is no Secret Service and the street is not blocked.
Because of the walls, there is no way to get a decent picture except standing in the entrance. We drove by, turned around, and drove about 50 yards past the club.
Well, what the heck, why not walk by and get a good picture. But after about 10 yards, a short siren blast comes from the Suburban. Fortunately, Peter quickly moves the car up and I jump in.
As we drive by the officer, we stop and ask, "Are we not allowed to walk by and take a picture?" He snapped back with his answer. "You are lucky. You came this close to being detained."
So there it is. I would have posted some nice pix of Mar a Lago but apparently the Palm Beach Police think it is better to just go to the Mar a Lago website.

It turns out he was a veteran with health issues and was angry with Reagan. They sat, shared breakfast, and agreed to disagree but Reagan asked him to correspond, which he did. Reagan did as well.
We would have started a “GO FUND ME” to bail you out. /not
No photographs even though you are on a public street or a public sidewalk. More of that post 9/11 police state bullcrap. Before 9/11 anywhere you could be legally, you could take a photo.
They think actual terrorists wouldn’t think of a hundred ways to hide a camera and take a photo?
Now every tourist with a brownie camera is an Al Qeida commando.
Now every tourist with a brownie camera is an Al Qeida commando.
If a brownie camera was what they had they WOULD be very suspicious!!! Im also old enough to remember them.
At first glance I read "DUI Florida Road Trip...."
Of course I'd just commented on the article about a DUI in NY costing you your gun rights......
Peter Paul ??? a blast from the past...
You can take the picture. They can detain you.
At some point, you may respond saying, “May I go?”
That’s how it works.
Thanks.
Doug, you’re probably on a list. Near the top.
I think you are right.
I never heard this before, I need to look up the story.
Today the sad fact is that its a sign your a real patriot if your on a list.

It is the radical Left they are truly worried about. God bless those who protect the President.
OMG!! HI DFU...thought you fell off the earth. I have forgotten what Peter Paul did!!! I’m OLD.
I spend some time here and a lot on Twitter. @DCCogan
I have to agree, after going to the website, the pictures are indeed spectacular and much better than you could provide.......Sorry
Obviously Trump is behind this abuse of power. Following the 2020 election when he is reelected, your event will be cause for another impeachment inquiry........

Well dang. I’ve always thought of myself as a patriot, however the two agents parked in front of my house just assured me that I am not on any list. They’re FBI so I think they may have been lying.
