I agree and applaud this action and the perpetrators belong in jail, but I think it is misguided to go after New York and Colorado first, they should have Taken Out the Big Chief of Illegal Aliens first, California, and Jailed the entire Government, State, County and City leaders. Every Other State would fall inline immediately.

Not sure why ICE targeted these two cities since there are many more. Still, this is a promising move on their part.

Federal Immigration statutes are the law of the land. I don't see any argument a city may use that would stand up in a federal court. However, sanctuary States could use the 9th and 10th Amendments as an argument, weak as it may be. Arizona partly lost a USSC decision regarding their State to enforce their own immigration law. Some internal State provisions were upheld. The parts denied by the USSC were just in the ruling, since it was within the fedgov jurisdiction and not a state's.

Just heard on the radio a few hours ago that Massachusetts is about to become a sanctuary *state*. There's a bill in the state legislature that's close to passage. The report said that our RINO Governor has threatened to veto it...but the problem is that both houses of our legislature are 95% Rat...so an override is sure to happen.
