Good opportunity for Google to just buy them up and add all that DNA information into the Big Database.
Why buy the database? Anything digital is hackable and thus can be breached, copied, altered or destroyed by outsiders whether they be some kid in a basement having fun, Big Brother, or some other entity.
There is no such thing as digital security.
