A forum Wednesday at the University of Notre Dame featured panelists who urged the university to pay reparations to blacks and Native Americans.
Panelist Savanna Morgan, a senior at Notre Dame, said black and indigenous communities have a “right” to pursue reparations at Notre Dame. These reparations are “indeed monetary,” she said, adding they are “equally psychological and symbolic.”
Morgan said one of the “appropriate remedies” for Notre Dame is “taking our $13.8 billion endowment out of this one mile radius and sharing this wealth with the people Notre Dame has historically robbed of their right to a safe and secure life.”
“We must acknowledge how white institutions contribute to black disadvantage and commit to the appropriate remedies,” she said.

If you don’t like the way policies of an institution are done than “DON’T USE THAT INSTITUTION.”
How about just fixing the problem? That should be reparations enough.
Many countries don’t even do that.
Reparations: a shakedown where the uninjured demand payments from those who never injured them.

Hey, Libs! Keep us American Indians out of this mess. We have our own problems, but seeking so-called “reparations” from Notre Dame or any other university is not anything we need. (This includes land grant universities on land that was at one time ours.)

Was Notre Dame originally a school funded by the Irish so that Catholics who couldn’t go to Harvard because they were Catholic could go to college?
Given the fact that Notre Dame was itself a response to discrimination against Catholics, Irish Catholics in particular, this lame attempt at SJW extortion is obviously the result of the extortionists going down a list of who has cash, not anything related in any way to the “harm” to or “oppression” of anyone.
This is what happens when you stop being a Catholic University to appease the left. Losers.

What about the Poles? My father in law was a South Bend native he claimed that Notre Dame had such a fantastic football team because of the Polish players out of Chicago but those Irish grab all the glory.
Now he could have been wrong. So grain of salt and such.
