Cipollone: Impeachment Dems 'Came Here - for 24 Hours - and Hid Evidence from You'

Despite talking for 24 hours in the Senate impeachment trial, Democrats failed to mention key evidence, because they know facts aren’t on the side, President Donald Trump defense attorney said in opening statements Saturday as Trump’s defense began arguments.

Cipollone promised that Trump’s attorneys would present the evidence that Democrats omitted, and said that those watching should ask: “Why am I just hearing about this now, after 24 hours of sitting through arguments?”:

“The fact that they came here, for 24 hours, and hid evidence from you, is further evidence that they don’t really believe in the facts of their case.”

The Democrats – not President Trump – are actually the ones trying “to perpetrate the most massive interference in an election in American history,” Cipollone said:

“That this is, for all their talk about election interference, that they’re here to perpetrate the most massive interference in an election in American history. And, we cannot allow that to happen.

“It would violate our constitution. It would violate our history. It would violate our obligations to the future. And, most importantly, it would violate the sacred trust the American people have placed in you and have place in them.

“The American people decide elections.”

WOW! The D’s did the WORST possible job ever!
No fairness or due process in their investigations, denying PDJT and House Republicans ANY
opportunities to present evidence or rebut witnesses, etc. A complete and total screw job.. of Trump, of our Constitutional process, and of their own “investigation!”

Then they cock up two totally NON-impeachable “charges.” Should be dismissed on their face, totally poppy-cock.

and NOW they Present their “charges” in a most rude manner, alienating Senators (jurors) with actual insults and rude behavior.

We are hoping the Senate dismisses these patently bogus (and Unconstitutional) charges, quickly!

There will be plenty of time for Team Trump to “rebut” and to “go on the offensive” (Biden, Pelosi, Feinstein corruption, etc)

The Senate needs to get back to work (including filling more judicial vacancies with good appointees). And the House can GTH!

I wish he would amp it up a bit. He said a lot of things that deserved a more powerful delivery, in my opinion. It was almost like reading it instead of watching and hearing it. Sekulow is better at this.

Plus I think the American people want the House to start doing its job, too, by at least proposing bills that address important issues and problems (the massive enemy Islamic infiltration into USA along with Mexican drug gangs, etc), homelessness ( albeit properly a state concern, perhaps there’s something the feds can contribute) , the dangerous new Chinese virus ( USA colleges are still recruiting Chinese students thousands at a time. USA corporations are still importing thousands of workers from communist China to take American jobs, And Chinese tourists are still flying into airports all across america - perhaps a temporary suspension at least?)
