Lets hope they, the flight crew and the healthcare workers are all quarantined.
Guess what coming now with this virus .
A huge wave of exposed Chinese refugees who will live here .

Same in the Seattle area. Although I have a friend that does inspection work. He said a lot of the empty homes here have lots of problems sitting vacant. A couple of years with our wet winters and there is mold and mildew issues, wood decay, etc.
They are wearing masks in SF China town now .
I was tempted to wear a mask to Costco last week - lots of Chinese. One of these days I’ll have to make the decision of being prudent over looking foolish. Asian females can get away with wearing masks as a fashion statement, old white guys not so much I think!
Actually, SFO had a pretty good “ “Quarantine Station” and people a couple of decades ago.
My wife and I spent 10 days in the Devon England area, sight seeing having fisherman lunches in pubs and the same for dinner at 3 times the priced.
I fly fished due to some ancestral connections.
On my way back from fly fishing one evening (close to 10 pm with the day light savings time), and I saw a dead cow near the fence cross over. On my way back to our B&B, a Warden came up asked me how the fishing was. I said good for me and not the dead cow. He nearly panicked. I insured him that him that I stayed up stream and away from the dead cow.
He wanted to see my id and fishing license. I gave him my visitor fishing license and told him to keep it and my business card for US data. He thanked me and suggested that I put the waders and wader boots and belt in a heavy duty plastic bag. Then, he gave me one to use. I put my waders in it after they dried on the balcony. Later I checked them at Heath-row with the rest of our luggage.
We caught a plane back to the states, and the ticket guys wanted to see my fishing flies and wanted to know how the fishing flies worked. I told them.
My wife was watching and listening to this and when I walked away with her to board, she said, “That was rather intent questioning. I said that they were fly fishers and bored with what they had to do. I was good break in their day. She gave me that look of, “What have you done now?”
After landing, we went to the luggage area to pickup our bags, there were two guys standing by the plastic bag with my waders on a cart.
They introduced themselves as something to do with agriculture protection.
Next they asked me if the bag was mine and what was in it. I told them. They had a grim look, and I told them, “Take it, I don’t need it anymore.
They smiled and relaxed, and my wife and I left.
A week later, UPS brought new replacements for the waders, boots and gear and a thank you note.
We found out that the cow had died from Mad Cow disease.
The Brits and our farm/ag guys at SFO were glad to have a cooperative guy.
The 3M disposable masks are effective if properly fit tested. I would imagine that only 10 to 20% are worn properly (just found one study - they say 24% out of a study of 900 people).
And of course the virus is on the outside of the mask (and your clothing, brief case, luggage, etc.). Normal viruses can last a couple of hours on clothing, and 24 hours or more on hard surfaces.
A freeper told me this virus has an extra hard shell, so it can last multiple days on a hard surface. (So probably much longer on clothing too.)

Can you go back in time to see how often that flight *had* been occurring, and how many people were on board (i.e. size of jet)?

CCP probably doesn’t care if you leave China all together (someone else’s problem). These are probably “expat” U.S. citizens (or dual citizenship) returning to the US. Even the POTUS is flying people out (Conciliate/Embassy staff, etc.).
We will be “legend”. If the next pandemic hits, no government will be able to stop it. It will have to stop by itself.
