Actually I got the impression they jumped on the "insulted by schiff" bandwagon so fast as to have a "reason" (excuse) in their home state to vote with the team.

But, I get how breathless reporting and back and forth draw eyes to the TV, but it’s not ‘winning’, it’s ‘won.’ House managers obviously had quite the hurdle to get over, coming to the senate with no evidence, no crime and pretty much no prayer. That they couldn’t deliver even the starter’s gun in the race to convict on impeachment is pretty sad, really.

In the hyper partisan insanity that is this impeachment, Democrats needed to find 20 Republican senators to agree with their lock step political attack to usurp the will of the voters, and they got no where near it.

Honestly, I think they would have done better to just focus on ‘Orange Man Bad’ and perhaps just read out some of his tweets. Least they’d have had a better shot at their goal.
