The South China Morning Post is doing yeoman's work covering this 21st century Chinese plague. The Chinese government promised to cover expenses for flu patients. It lied. Sick patients in a country with an average daily daily per capita GDP (used here as a proxy calculation for personal income) of about $22 are now having to pay $144 a day for medication that may not even work.

So far the false positive rate is 100%.
At some point we may well have a high mortality pandemic, and likely as not the “Bring Out Your Dead” threads will miss the beginning entirely.
