The first “presumptive” case of coronavirus in Canada has been identified at Toronto’s Sunnybrook hospital, Ontario’s chief medical officer of health said Saturday.
A 50-year-old man, who returned from a trip to Wuhan, China, on Wednesday, called 911 the next day and was taken by ambulance to Sunnybrook with a fever and cough. Tests came back positive for coronavirus on Saturday and the man is now being treated in isolation in a “negative pressure” room at the hospital.

Hopefully they’re rounding up anyone who this man (recently returned from Wuhan)has been around. Why we have planes landing from China is a mystery to me.

The nurse in that video said (maybe a couple of days ago) that over 90,000 were infected in Hubei Province and warned viewers not to go out.
Many years (30+) ago the Owner of a good sized factory wanted to prove how much they effected the lives of everyone in that town.
On that Friday he paid ALL the employees in silver dollars!
Everyone was forced to take their whole check in a sack of coins...lol.
Everyone thought it was nuts, but he proved his point. Before the weekend was over everyone in that town had some of those silver dollars in their pockets.
Most people didn’t even know why everyone was paying for stuff with those silver dollars, just that they were.
Those stories about how everybody spread those silver dollars to every body in town in just a day or so reminds one how a nasty viruses spreads so fast.

Surprised the first Canada case is not in Vancouver.
All travel from China, in fact, all international travel should be shut down for a few days. Just to see how severe the spread is already.
But, restrictions on international travel are unacceptable to the globalist woke elite - no matter how many die.
These fools can work themselves into a frenzy of fake “concern” over pseudo menaces like global warming and private firearms ownership.
But, a global pandemic that could kill tens of millions - they are blase since since they don’t like the most effective means of limiting the spread.
There’s a big Chinatown in Toronto.
I’ve been holed up in the mountains since early last month and now I have to go to L.A. for a doctor’s appointment. I guess I have more of a chance in an automobile accident but going into the city right into a doctor’s office. Great.

Not if you’re an American service provider (going there to help a Canadian business). Better have the proper work papers or you’re turned around pronto.
Well, it’s winter way up North and i have to expect there’s a lot less travel and contact going on. If it hits now, the situation is more favorable for isolation.
Good luck with that incompetent Castrudeau though. If I go by his leadership alone, Canada will look like an episode of the Walking Dead within the month.
But there are far better men and woman in Canada fortunately, and they will be the ones who save the day while Castrudeau takes credit, all while crying on the inside as to why daddy didn’t love him and bring him to the island.

Ok, so from Thursday to Saturday he was contaminating the whole hospital because anyone he had direct contact with could have become infected, then those people could have spread it to others in the hospital and then taken it home and out into the community because the virus is infectious during the incubation period. You might not have symptoms for two weeks but you can still spread it.
Toronto: 2 hr drive to Buffalo and Niagara Falls NY where Canadian shop regularly. And if they want real health care fast, they visit Buffalo hospitals
International travel is the way it spreads. Humans never evolved any resistance to diseases spread this way. The virus attacks, and there is no immune response because the virus is a complete surprise.
As long as there is unhindered international travel to third-world countries, this will continue.
