I hope he follows through because this seems like a good approach.

Don’t drag the Bidens into the impeachment. The defense lawyers are doing a bang up job as it is. They don’t need the Bidens to win the impeachment argument. Let them close the deal on Monday, then vote to acquit later in the week.

Then expose the Bidens later. Time it to segue into the deep state corruption that hopefully Barr and Durham will be bringing to the public’s attention.

Good post.

As long as the Senate is hearing witness testimony - regardless of which side gets to call them - it is a win for the Democrats.

The Democrats’ agenda has NEVER been to actually convict and remove, since they know that is impossible. Their agenda has always been to stretch the impeachment process out as long as possible, in order to keep talk of the President’s alleged wrongdoings in the fake news headlines.

Calling witnesses, any witnesses, is just an excuse to stretch the trial out, and therefore a win for the Democrats.

Ending this BS soon with all 53 Republicans voting for acquittal, is a win for the President.

I don’t know if Lindsay Graham, Durham, Barr or anyone else will ever bring these corrupt Democrats to the justice they deserve, but I do know, at this point, the impeachment trial is not the right place to do it.

That would only muddy the waters, give the Democrats additional months of fodder for their fake news smear campaign, and risk blowing the chances of winning the unanimous GOP acquittal needed to fully vindicate the President.
