Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump in August told his then-national security adviser John Bolton that he wanted to continue holding military aid to Ukraine until the country helped with investigations into Democrats -- including former Vice President Joe Biden -- the New York Times reported Sunday, citing multiple people's descriptions of an unpublished draft manuscript by Bolton.

Screw the NYT’s biased leak of what Bolton allegedly says in his manuscript! The word used in the story is ‘preferred’. It doesn’t say ‘ordered’, doesn’t say ‘demanded or ‘directed’! Look at the result, Ukraine got the money in a very short time. Trump’s attorneys used the very appropriate term ‘pause’ to describe the delay. There’s no impeachable offense there!
This is just like the situation during the Russia investigation. There were reports that Trump wanted to fire Mueller. Again, well within his authority to do so. Well, did he? I’m sure he ‘preferred’ that Mueller be gone but the president allowed that farce to complete with no interference! This latest claim about Bolton is a pile of crap that’ll clear like a fart in church in very short order! Can’t wait to listen to the defense crush Schiff and Nadler and the whole bunch of those diseased donkeys tomorrow!

This non denial denial proves Bolton wants to testify so he can shove a knife in Trump’s back. So he wants to help the rats who has said repeatedly are trying to destroy the country. So that makes Bolton nothing but a selfish traitor.
I doubt it. If Bolton is playing for any team it is GOPe. They certainly do not want this dragged out. The outcome is not in doubt. They will continue to be humiliated by Schiff and the rest of the Democrat kapos.

Also, read even more closely, note the word “preferred” here. That Trump “preferred” that Ukraine do something is far different than saying, as Dems allege, that Trump *conditioned* it. I don’t think Bolton is helping Dems here (what a shocker, I know).

Hardly. Even if true the problem for Bolton would be that what he’s alleging doesn’t even match the actual phone transcript of Trump’s call, so at worst all Bolton could say “allegedly” is that Trump gave a quid pro quo some thought, but never followed through “as per the actual phone transcripts”. Just giving it consideration without actually following through is not justification for removal from office, nor is it a crime.

Of course. This is how they operate every single time - something is always waiting on deck to spring if their initial effort falls completely apart. As the President’s defense team began decimating the case (not to mention the damage the Dems did to their own case by making outrageous comments) - they had this ready to spring in the press. Just like with Kavanaugh, etc.
