CNN ^

Washington (CNN)President Donald Trump in August told his then-national security adviser John Bolton that he wanted to continue holding military aid to Ukraine until the country helped with investigations into Democrats -- including former Vice President Joe Biden -- the New York Times reported Sunday, citing multiple people's descriptions of an unpublished draft manuscript by Bolton.

Bolton can testify that he and Trump’s father sold olive oil.

I don’t care if he testifies. The President did nothing wrong.

A President can choose to withhold aid for any of a variety of reasons, including to incentivize a newly elected Ukrainian President to deal with his nation’s legendary corruption.

The idea that Joe Biden is immune just because he’s running for President, or that President Trump can’t ask for an investigation into a potential political rival - is the height of absurdity.

I can’t wait for the Democrats to try out that argument in court.

Has the POTUS defense team played the video of Biden bragging about getting Prosecutor Shokin fired? I look forward to Biden on the witness stand trying to explain that away.

No not yet. If they do call the Bidens that will be a treat to see them squirm watching that video

There is an eternally wide chasm between wanting to do something and actually doing it.

Romney has proven himself to be the most callow, cowardly, and selfish kind of opportunist. You can just imagine him at Harvard...elbowing others out of his way to get the front of the line, flashing his big used car salesman's smile.

Romney, always sitting in the front row of class, shooting his hand up before the professor has even finished his question for the class.

His entire performance on the national stage says "me, me, me."

I can't believe I voted for that obnoxious SOB.

“Wait, there’s more!”

That’s the Democrats’ playbook: make last minute unfounded accusations. It seemed to almost work against Justice Kavanaugh.

And I think that Bolton an the publisher denied this.

But I guess none of that matters.

The whole world is crazy.

THey’re hoping the Rats are too shocked at the helicopter deaths to watch today anyway.

Wouldn’t be surprised at other tricks today.

Once again, it could be Bolton’s speculation like it was with the others.

Many FReepers had trepidations about Bolton’s joining the Trump administration, feeling he might turn and backstab the President. You guys called it dead on. I thought Bolton was a bigger man than to go the “disgruntled ex-employee” route... unfortunately he wasn’t.”

Hopefully it ends the, “Bolton is a patriot” talk. He’s willing, like the rest of them, to destroy the Republic in order to sell a few more books. He could have quashed all of this. He knows exactly what he’s doing and he’s not doing it because he’s a patriot.

“They certainly do not want this dragged out. “

Then why would Bolon volunteer to testify when the witness thing was pretty much dead until he shot his mouth off? That makes no sense, he knew exactly what would happen.

Precisely...if the majority of voters are too thick to see, or care about, the dishonesty of the Rats' attempt to blow hot air in to their flat tire of a case against Trump, the Republic is in worse shape than I ever imagined. To prosecute a non-crime with non-evidence that cannot even not be obtained by legal means is the height of Rat arrogance and disrespect for the mentality of the American voters whose understanding of the Constitution makes this country great.

Unfortunately, Liberals have been breeding a permanent class, or should I say underclass, of voters who care nothing for our laws except the ones that line their own pockets or fill their bellies etc.
