The frightening thing is that something like this could happen anywhere there is a biohazard lab with less than 100% attention to safety.

How many will die from THIS one??? The count goes on, sadly.

The more daunting* thing is that Mo’ Nature with some help from humans has hundreds of thousands of incubators (if not more) going in just Wuhan itself. No help from biohazard labs needed.

That’s not to say I think there is no chance this arose in a lab. But the odds favor the same or similar generation of this pathogen as countless others in the past.

*I prefer “daunting” to “frightening”. That’s just me, I suppose.
