John Bolton and his publishing team are denying any claims that they leaked details of the former national security adviser's unpublished manuscript to The New York Times following a bombshell report in the newspaper Sunday night.
The Times first reported that Bolton's book will say President Trump wanted to withhold nearly $400 million in U.S. aid to Ukraine until the country's president, Volodymyr Zelensky, committed to opening investigations, including into former Vice President Joe Biden, a 2020 political rival.
The report came one day before the White House defense team was set to begin its second day of arguments fighting against the impeachment charges brought forward by House Democrats. The timing has led some Republicans to raise questions about the report.
But Bolton and his team say "categorically" in a statement that did not work with the Times to publish such details.
"There was absolutely no coordination with the New York Times or anyone else regarding the appearance of information about his book, THE ROOM WHERE IT HAPPENED, at online booksellers," Bolton, Simon & Schuster, and Javelin Literary said in a joint statement.
"Any assertion to the contrary is unfounded speculation," they added.

Exactly, this does not mean that the leak was not coordinated with someone else. Bwahahahahahaha
Those are weasel words. “Did not Coordinate”.
Bolton is revealing himself as another Trumphater.
Vindeman’s identical twin brother reviewed the manuscript for the NSC in order to clear it for publication. Bolton accuses him.
Here is the latest Democrat/Fake news talking point: “Bolton Bombshell Bolton Bombshell Bolton Bombshell.”
He might be coordinating with the libs. His timing concerning EVERYTHING is in lock step work the Dem playbook.
Another guy that loves to send out others’ kids to die.
But the Ukrainians got their money. End of story.
“Bolton is revealing himself as another Trumphater.”
I have no idea what Bolton thinks about Trump but no one that is fired is happy about it. Thus caution should be exercised in allowing former disgruntled ex-employees to testify.
So should I be punished just because I was reluctant to pay my taxes, even if I wound up doing so?

What was the book called again? Gotta love publishers.
I thought anyone who worked for the President in the White House had to get their manuscript approved before getting their book published. Am I missing something? I haven’t read or heard anyone mention this and if true, it would put this stupid speculation to bed!
Whoa, whoa, whoa. WANTED to? Finally. An admission that he didn't do what he has been accused of doing.
Game, set, match. Impeachment over. Do not pass go, do not collect 200 billion dollars.
Time to polygraph the doughboy Vindman twins at the NSC.Seems to me that O’Brien, the head of the NSC should be polygraphing anyone who had access to the manuscript at NSC. I wouldn’t be surprised that the same person flunking the polygraph was the same person in the cabal leaking phone calls of Trump with foreign leaders in the early stages of his administration.
I believe this leak is completely FAKE.
Looks like it was Andrew Peek. The guy that was dragged out of the White House.
Thou shall not transgress against DemoRat thoughts intent deemed, suggested or otherwise.
They “categorically did not work with the Times.” They did, however, work with someone who then leaked the story to the times. *wink*
