LOL, man, I really needed that laugh, thanks ...
So our vaunted government health agencies think travelling to China might be risky now. Well. Good thing we gave them looking out for us.
My first thought was could this be an engineered virus that got loose?
Nah...China wouldn’t do that...
Really....we need our deep state government to tell us about what is going on in China. Really?

Gross negligence
The most dangerous thing about visiting China right now could be what the authorities might do with you. The ChiComs do everything with a heavy hand.
I warned you about that before you left!
“...My brother had snake when he visited Texas and liked it....”
When I worked in south Texas, I ate a couple of fried pieces of rattlesnake at the Rattlesnake Roundup in Freer, TX. It wasn’t that bad...kinda bony, and IF I were starving to death, I’d eat it in a second. However, I’m certainly not going to the local supermarket looking for it. :)
I’ve a Strong desire to try different animal meat.
I’ve a VERY limited variation in my whole life.
The usual..chicken, cow, calf, lamb, bison, goat (that was different), venison, pork, sausage lol..don’t know if that’s animal :)...
I’d like to try some REALLY exotic meats.
But rattlesnake doesn’t sound like it should be high on the list :)
rattlesnake meat eat only if you kill it. It’s not bad but it’s not worth the trouble usually. try to find hippo, rhino or elephant meat if you truly want exotic. I have heard each are sold in the US but I have idea where.
Wow those are REALLY exotic meats.
No worries, just wash your hands frequently, don't mind the 105 fever.
