That apparently depends upon the rock that you are sitting on. That’s true for us in SoCal. In other regions 4.0 might feel very strong.
That’s true. After a big one that sort of activity is pronounced. There’s often multiple ones going on per minute for certainly every five minutes.
I set my quake warning setting at 6.0 or more.
Search “recent earthquakes California”. Bookmark it and check it regularly
Had several siesmic recording stations set up at a few of our sites, earthquakes every damn day.
Most were so small you couldn’t feel them.
I felt a 3.2 in Santa Cruz, Ca. some 30+ years ago.
