-- My understanding is they have to vote to approve witnesses. --

Two steps. The first one is pure proceudure, it is allowed by our rules, is it in order to vote on witnesses at all?

If yes, then will be motions for witnesses. The deals will be made in the back rooms. This is entirely opaque to the public. The sentators will do the usual lie and smile thing.

There is no way a witness will be allowed, that could damage a senator. Impssible. These crooks make themselves untouchable, and put themselves on a pedastal.

For example Bolton, who we would not think would damage any senator. Calling the Bidens could damage that ex-senator with the same name, so that will get voted down?
