The R’s have the Senate, and Mitch sure did tell Pelousy that she doesn’t control it.On the other hand, Nancy does have absolute control over her majority. Sadly for the Constitution, Mitch cannot claim as much.
I thought Mitch was a serious "institution" and "procedure" guy. Allowing Senate Impeachment Trials to become House Impeachment Investigations Round 2, is a pretty big new precedent to set after 230 years.
