Can Trump assert executive privilege and make the senate fight him in court? I don’t fully understand executive privilege but assumed it is an extension of the fifth amendment, or whatever equivalent exists between the branches.
Yes. The WH will do that just to protect the institution of the WH, has nothing to do with Trump.
