Yup. Let them screw around forever trying to get witnesses while President Trump goes around getting stuff done and holding massive rallies.
So they get Bolton, big deal. A nothing burger.
If he says President Trump wanted investigations before aid then why was the aid given without them?
Catch 22.
Question #1: "Why were you fired, Mr. Bolton?"
Question #2: "Can you provide us a list of all the foreign interests that fund the organizations that have employed you over the years between your stints in various Republican administrations?
Question #3A: "Here is a video clip of you speaking to an organization called the People's Mujahadeen of Iran (MEK), a group of Marxist Iranian exiles clamoring for the overthrow of the Iranian government. Is it true that the MEK was listed as a terrorist organization by the U.S. government before you joined the George W. Bush administration?
Question #3B: "Were you fired because President Trump resisted your push to invade Iran and topple the Iranian government like you promised would happen by 2019 in your 2017 speech to those MEK people that we just saw on videotape?"
“If he says President Trump wanted investigations before aid then why was the aid given without them?”
Trump had no right to stop aid which had been voted and approved by Congress. He switched after he was caught. The proper procedure would have been for him to discuss with Congress why he thought the aid should be delayed. The fact he did not is what makes him appear guilty of something wrong.
