Matt Drudge, the founder of the Drudge Report, appeared to distance himself from President Trump and from his previous support for the current commander in chief.
Drudge, whose site rose to prominence during the Clinton-Lewinsky scandal, was asked about the apparent shift his site took by Columbia Journalism Review's Bob Norman. The reporter visited Drudge's home in Florida so he could ask him about the current administration, but Drudge didn't answer when Norman knocked. He did answer his phone when Norman called him after leaving his property, according to a CJR article by Norman, which was published on Wednesday.

So, what is the alternative?
He has never been a gay activist. Never promoted gay marriage or abortion. I don’t think it’s even proveb he is gay. Left wing smear.
I haven’t gone to that site in a long time. I deleted the bookmark. That’s another site that will shrink and end up as a footnote.
Why does there have to be an alternative? Drudge put links to articles these not usually writing his own opinion he hasn’t done that years.
I think there is some pretty hefty non-disclosure that he signed when he sold his site or whatever he did. I am not even sure he has verified that he no longer controls it.
I have been waiting to see the latest stats on Drudge viewership. The last I knew it was going down the tubes. I have not been there in ages.

That one remark “That was three years ago”, is the only new piece of information this reporter has brought us about Drudge. There isn’t much more to it, at least not as described in the article.
The second piece of info that very well may be true is that it appears Matt has become a hermit. How sad that you can have all this success and the wealth it brings you, only to have the irresistible need to hide yourself away from everybody. Jack Dorsey, Pres. of Twitter seems to be headed in that same direction. Lots of fasting, lots of bathing in ice water with the isolation.
Great timing on Matt’s part. Help Trump when he was likely to lose & distance himself when he’s going to win. If it weren’t for that blue dress, he’d be showing his leg nightly in West Hollywood.
