Sounds like jury tampering to me.
From my reading I get that Roberts can not break a tie. Senate rules say a tie is a down vote unless the VP votes.
I don’t think Roberts has standing to vote in the Senate.
Roberts cannot vote. Has no power granted by the constitution to do so.
I hope you’re right about Manchin, I saw him interviewed by Baier yesterday and I would guess he is going to vote yes.
Collins is going to vote against Trump on impeachment. I guess in her statement she says Trump was wrong for what he did.
Alexander ripped Trump in his statement..saying what he did was wrong......but not impeachable...now Trump should just stay off twitter...
She’ll vote with her twin sister Collins..it never fails so don’t count her vote as a no! Maybe manchin will vote no..he has more integrity then those 3 RINO bozos!!
Pence can't vote ... which is why the CJ presides over the trial.

Trump should still thank Alexander for the no vote. Who cares what Alexander says as long as this is over.. for now.

Manchin needs to ‘swim the Tiber’, politically. His defection to the “R” ranks would insure his seat in Washington for twenty years. Sometimes I listen to him and he sounds like a rino not a demon rat.
