True, Nixon lost in 1960, but in 1968, he was still his partys most recent two term VP, which is BY FAR the most common pathway - almost always guaranteeing nomination.
History shows that Pence will almost certainly get the nomination in 2024, if he chooses to run.
Romney has no such qualification.

History shows that Pence will almost certainly get the nomination in 2024, if he chooses to run. I think it's an uphill battle for a traditional politician to win the Repub nomination...and Pence is nothing if not a traditional politician.

I love Mike Pence, but if he could just put a little pizzazz in his delivery...he's better than a sleeping pill when he talks. I guess I'm spoiled by our dynamic President.
