President Trump appeared to mock House Speaker Nancy Pelosi this week by gleefully handing out souvenir pens at the USMCA signing ceremony.
A move that came after Pelosi was slammed for handing out souvenir pens with her name on them on the day she signed the resolution to transmit two articles of impeachment against Trump to the Senate.

Pelosi was merely mocking the American people when she did her stunt. At a whopping $9k a pen (vs the still expensive but much more moderate $150-$200 pens handed out at White House signing ceremonies.)

Actually Nan was mocking him. After the first signing where his guests to the Oval Office didn’t get a pen at the signing of a bill they were involved with, HE ordered a signature pen for their souvenir. Always thinking of others. Joked about at the first time with pen that they would be available on EBay but what did he care. I can guarantee they didn’t cost nearly as much as hers did. His costs the tax payers nothing.

Have you ever watched a bill signing? Handing out pens has been going on for about 200 years. It is generally done to celebrate the event.
Handing out pens for a solemn occasion is bad manners.
Trump wasn’t trolling anyone. This is what happens. All the time.
Pens are always handed out whenever significant legislation is signed. This is nothing new. What was new is when Nancy Pelosi did the same with her sham impeachment.
GOP softies need to grow a pair and follow President Trump’s example. Fight back. We learned it as kids, you get punched - punch back harder.
